SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

1. ELIGIBILITY

This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, other than residents of Alaska or Hawaii, who are:

  • Currently employed as teachers, administrators, or educational staff at a K-12 school
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry
  • Have a valid school-issued email address

VOID IN ALASKA, HAWAII, OR WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. This sweepstakes is void in any state or territory where sweepstakes are prohibited or restricted by law.

Employees of Taco Cat Games LLC and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) and households are not eligible to participate.

2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on [08/15/2025] and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on [09/15/2025] (the “Sweepstakes Period”). All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period.

3. HOW TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

To enter, you must:

  1. Use your school-issued email address
  2. Provide the following required information:
    • First name
    • Last name
    • School-issued email address
    • Phone number
    • School name and address

Entry Method: Submit your entry via the designated email signup process sent to eligible participants.

Entry Limits: One (1) entry per person per school email address. Multiple entries from the same person or email address will be disqualified.

By entering, you agree to receive promotional emails from Sponsor. You may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions in any email.

4. PRIZES

Grand Prize (1 Winner):

“Taco Cat Van Visit and Games for Your Whole School”

  • Visit from TCGCP Van to winner’s school, to the extent approved by the winner’s school and reasonably coordinated with Sponsor*
  • 24 packs of 4 games (96 games total)
  • 24 copies of graphic novel for K-3 classrooms
  • 24 packs of mittens
  • Approximate Retail Value: $2,000

Second Prizes (5 Winners):

“Games for Your Whole School”

  • 24 packs of 4 games (96 games total)
  • 24 copies of graphic novel
  • 24 packs of mittens
  • Approximate Retail Value: $1,600 each

Third Prizes (10 Winners):

“Classroom Game Bundle”

  • 1 pack of 4 games
  • 1 copy of graphic novel
  • 1 pack of mittens
  • Approximate Retail Value: $80 each

Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $10,800

*School visit and delivery subject to geographic availability and scheduling. Alternative arrangements may be made for locations where visits or delivery is impractical.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about [09/20/2025] by Sponsor or its designated representatives. Drawing will be conducted from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

Winners will be notified by email at the address provided during entry and by phone within five (5) business days of the drawing. If a winner cannot be contacted within five (5) business days of the first notification attempt, or if any notification is returned as undeliverable, that winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

Potential winners may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release within seven (7) days of notification. Failure to return required documents within the specified time period may result in disqualification.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Acceptance of Prizes: Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash. No substitutions allowed except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

Tax Responsibility: Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes. Winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 for prizes valued over $600.

School Permission: Grand Prize and Second Prize winners must obtain necessary permissions from their school administration for prize fulfillment. Sponsor is not responsible if school policies prevent prize acceptance.

Geographic Limitations: Van visit included in Grand Prize is subject to geographic availability within the continental United States. Alternative arrangements may be made for winners in remote locations.

7. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, directors, and agents from any and all liability, claims, actions, damages, or losses arising from or in connection with this sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ACCESS TO AND USE OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

8. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW

This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.

9. PRIVACY

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://dolphinhat.com/privacy-policy/. By entering, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. WINNERS LIST

For a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Taco Cat Games LLC, 370 Huls Dr., Clayton, OH 45315 within sixty (60) days after the end of the Sweepstakes Period.

11. SPONSOR

THESE OFFICIAL RULES CONSTITUTE THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND SPONSOR RELATING TO THIS SWEEPSTAKES.
